Talking Re: Do you use a template?

I'm glad to hear it. May help. Bows are so much fun to work on most of the time but I'm thinking I may begin to use a template or two. there are days that my hands could really use some help!! Like when you're lining hundreds of clips for five days and you get up in the morning on the sixth day with wrist pain and..poof.. there's a big custom bow order!!
I started with the old bowdabra and purchased one tut w/info that wasn't worth the $. So when people began selling templates and these extras I guess I just passed on them thinking I would scrap them too. I think I may give it a try.
Thanks so much for the input! I will be sure to post if I find a new record speed!!

I can't afford the templets either but how on earth would you even begin to make your own templets?

Free hand, no templates for me! I have been making bows for over twenty yrs, I will continue to do them the way I have been doing them all this time. I will not use a template because I do not want my bows to look like everyone elses. The handmade twist is what makes one persons bow stand out from another one.
