Default Bow holder

Hi Ladies,

Im making my daughter a bow holder, basically its like a wooden top then ribbon on the bottom hanging. I did a thicker ribbon, then glued a smaller size on top, but the glue has shown through . What do you all do to get it looking so neat, straght and tidy???

How did you attach the tulle? That's where i'm hung up on. Did you glue it?

Could you use double sided tape for the ribbons?

Its in the sewing section. Its an adhesive type tape that you apply by ironing, HTH.

First I machine sew the tulle then I glue on the body. I've never tried the double sided tape but the heat & bond works great!! HTH

heat & bond is sold at your local craft store and walmart. its basically where you iron the heat and bond to one side peel of the tape and iron that ribbon to another ribbon. it helps with stability and making it double! i use it to make my ribbon key fobs!

Perhaps I'm not understanding this correctly, but if you glue (or heat and bond) the top ribbon to the bottom ribbon how will you be able to clip on a bow? I clip my bows to the top (smaller) ribbon and wouldn't be able to do that if the two ribbons were fused together.
