Question When lining your clippies, do you tuck the butt?

So do ya?

What I mean is, do you tuck in the end that you pinch? Or, do you leave it out so that it has a flat look, when you're look straight at it? I've seen it done both ways. Personally, I prefer the way clippies look when they're not tucked. Is tucking the "right" way to line clippies? Or, is it a matter of personal preference?

Its a matter of personal preference. I tuck the butt, but when I first started making bows I didn't. I find that tucking the ribbon in makes it look a little more professional, jmo.

Agreed...Personal Preference.

I tuck because, sometimes I think it looks funny the other way...

I don't tuck, but I used too. The reason I stopped is, one time I noticed a well-worn clippie of my dd's had "untucked" so I felt like it was a weak spot on the clippie. And it was unsightly, so I felt like it was better to leave a flat surface that would never come undone. I'm probably just being paranoid, though.

Most of the time I untuck however sometimes I do still tuck. It just depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

Never heard it phrased that way before. LOL!!! Yep, I always tuck, I just like the way it looks better than untucked.
