Default Cutting korkers

So this might sound like a weird question, but how do you all cut your korkers? Do angle in or out, or do you just cut in a straight line? Anyway I try it the ends just just look goofy. Just wondering, thanks!

Personally, I like to cut them STRAIGHT. A lot of people cut them angled but I really think it depends on the look you want!

I was just searching for the answer to this question last night. I've just started trying to make korkers. I've been cutting mine slanted with my rotary cutter too.

I cut mine straight with a woodburner so that cuts and seals at the same time.

How are you cutting it with a woodburner without it rolling back up on you? Are you holding it "open" with 2 fingers and then sliding the woodburner across with the other hand to cut?
