Default Pinwheel???

I have tried and tried on making a pinwheel bow but I dont know why but it just doesnt turn out right. I am able to do the twisted which is the hardest but cant seem to get the pinwheel down. Anyone have any good advice???

Sorry.. Not much help here since I used a template.. I just wrap the ribbon around it.. Its super simple.

I dont use a template but i LOVE how the ones i've been making are turning out.. i use alligator clips to help hold the ribbon in place and then i fold it in half and stitch where i folded.

I made a template like the one in this video:

Super easy -- just wrap around, use a jumbo salon clip and either tie or sew. Here's one of mine:

How did you make the template (do you have dimensions you would be willing to share?) I am hopeless at this it seems.

When you fold down the middle and sew how do you fold yours???Anyway you could make a tut. yours are wonderful???
