Default Do you make your own bottlecaps?

Or do you order them from someone else?

I've done both. But I always order the images from someone else. I don't know how to do that.

Are they hard or expensive to make?

there is a lady in the for sale section selling them for 25-35 cents each. Well worth it for me not to have to deal with it.

I'm not sure if the images are difficult to make. But the actual bottlecaps aren't too hard, but can be a process. You have to print out the images on photo paper, use a 1" circle paper cutter to cut the design out. Then you can either use an adhesive like Modge Podge to glue the design to the bottle cap or a sticker maker and make the image an actual sticker to stick to the bottlecap. You then have to seal the image and allow it to dry.
So, just depends on if you feel it's worth the time or not.

I make most of my own images and bottlecaps. It's a very time consuming process, but I enjoy it!!

I make some and it is a BIG DEAL! I am sure you get fast as you learn but it is time consuming. It really isn't that hard but if someone is selling them for .25/.30, I would buy them. Also, make sure they have a resin coating. Anything else won't hold up.

I bought some finished caps from 2 people on here before I started making my own. Now I make my own images and caps. I would definitely jump on .25 each...I can't sell mine for that! I use only colored caps now, and I charge .45 per cap.

I make my own after getting some that I wasn't happy with the quality. I'm sure they were fine but I'm pretty picky so it was easier to do it myself. It is a process though. If you get the images printed somewhere (walmart, cvs, walgreens) you don't have to seal them only if you do them at home.
