Default Woven headband question

I finally tried making a woven headband and loved it. My question is are there instructions for how to achieve the stripes and woven varieties.

I have these 2 instructions...

http://www.youcanmakethis.com/info/h...-Headbands.htm

And Devon's instructions...

http://nobownogo.com/item_1/Woven-He...structions.htm

I mainly use Devon's instructions. She gives all the instructions. I don't know which one is my favorite. I like all the designs!

HTH!

I just made my first woven headband lately too and love it! So cute and fun! I think I may have found a new obsession. Haha!
I'm not much help since I've just started, but I'm too cheap to actually BUY instructions, so I'll have to figure it out myself by looking at pictures. I know to do the stripes, you just weave the same way. Only use two colors, two strands of each. At the beginning when you glue the pieces in an X shape, glue the same color to eachother. Or I guess you could just use 2 yards of 2 colors and glue them together in the center to form an X.
That was probably pretty confusing. If I get to making a striped one soon, I'll take some pictures for you.

Thanks so much. I did google it also and found that to be true of the stripes, haven't tried it yet. I saw that if you make 3 the solid color and one the different color it is supposed to be a zig zag. Haven't tried it yet either. Can't wait to see pictures. Thanks.

This video tells you how to get the stripe variation.

After playing around ALOT I figured out the triangle pattern. The one like nbng trees and watermelon headbands. Wish I had bought the instructions though I wasted lots of ribbon lol.

Oh yeah! I think that would totally work for the zig zag. Okay, I think I better go make one.
