Default tutu dress...

someone had a pic of their daughter and another little girl in a tutu dress, one was very elegant with what looked like feathers on front??? If this was yours can you tell me how you did the dress, do you just use the elastic up top and make the tutu strips extra long? Will regular elastic hold the whole thing up on the chest?

It wasn't my pic but when I make tutu dresses I use 1 inch nonroll elastic and make the strips really long or I use a crochet headband (6 or 8 inch) for the top. Then I just tie it as I would a regular tutu. But someone said in another thread that you should try to satin line the top because it can be itchy for the little girls. HTH

Ahhh! Thank you so much! I will do that. I want to make one for my daughters pictures this summer. I will make sure to line it underneath too, good thought!
