Default Lining Tutu Waists :)

I made my first tutu (pic below) and I'm wanting to line my waist with satin ribbon... Just wondering how I do this and what size of satin ribbon do I need to use? Thanks so much!

I would like to know as well! I kind of know how to wrap it, just don't understand how to keep it from coming unwrapped...is it glued?

I start by leaving about a 12 or so inch (not sure just eye it) tail to the left and left I wrap it around 2 knots at a time making sure the ribbon is overlapping. I work clockwise. When I get to the end I wrap it toward the back and tie the 2 ends in a not to prevent it from coming undone. Then you can pull the ribbon foward cut it to desired length and make a bow. It is very easy I hope thismakes sense if not just ask.

Ohhh sorry I always cut 5 yards of 7/8 satin to be safe but I probably only use about 4 or 4.25 yards.

Definitely makes sense! Thank you! Do you decorate your tutu with anything?

I put rhinestones, rosebuds and felt circles. Here is a couple of pics. The first is funny to look at because Ava was a baby she's 3.5 now
