Default How do yo make this bow?

I made this bow in the past but i can not remember how. I spent an hour yesterday playing with ribbon trying to do it. Anyone have a link or any advice? Thanks

It just looks like a twisted boutique with 1 or 1.5 " ribbon. =]

It doesn't look very twisted though. To me anyways. Are there instructions anywhere for it or what is another name it could be called so I can try searching the threads. Also look at this headband isn't it adorable. I wonder how the ric rac is attached. http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction...on_id=26762617

Basic boutique bow with longer tails made with wider ribbon which is why it doesn't look as twisted. Dont make the bow to big that way it stays perky rather than floopy ( if that makes sense) I've attatched a photo of a bow I made that is similar ( tails are not as long) mine is made with 23" 1.5" ribbon.

Thank you, I love your bow by the way. So this is the same bow you make with the figure 8? Is there another bow that looks similar? not a pin wheel and not a twisted? But not a plane jane bow either? I'm making this complicated. LOL

Not sure about the figure 8 as I've never used templates, this is just a basic boutique twisted bow. I measure the ribbon marked 0.5 inch from each end, centre and mid points and then fold. Not sure if that helps!!!!

For the ric rac, it's sandwiched between two pieces of ribbon and stitched. I can do a tut but it might take a few days. I have a FT job.

Take two pieces of ribbon and sandwich the ric rac on both sides and stitch. Stitch one end closed. Do a small fold on both sides of the other end and stitch add either velcro or a snap on to the edge. Turn inside out and press with an iron. Slip in a plastic headband and your done. I make these interchangeable.
