Default will this work for a tutu?

ok, so i was gonna buy regular 6" tulle rools and make a tutu for my DD, when I saw "organza shimmer tulle" (on ebay). Have any of you dealt with this stuff? what are the pros and cons? they are the same rolls of 75x6" but they shimmer and seem so much more flattering... please help I need to order ASAP!!! thank so much!!!!\

here is a link to them (not sure if this is allowed, but hope it is)

I think it would be cute! I used some sheer Halloween fabric with velvet/glittery shapes. I cut the fabric into strips and alternated it with the tulle and it looked really cute.

Post pics when you make it!

I think it would work the same as tulle but I've never used this. I would check around for similiar items at Hobby Lobby or Joann's for cheaper prices. I know HL has shimmery tulle.

For the rolls that were 6 x 25 I would use up to four for a tutu.

Does your Joann Fabrics have the 2/$5 bins? If so, look there. That is where mine has them. I think they have pink, white, baby blue, and brown.
