This is just how I do it though:

Only I don't cut off all the excess ribbon at the bottom, I just cut the size I need to begin with, heat seal it, fold it, and put it on the needle.

Thank you so much! This tutorial is much better than the one I posted. I like the fold with no glue. I don't like glue :-)

Ok, I'm trying the no glue one but I can't figure out the fold, can anyone post pics of how you're doing the no glue method?

Hey Blingmom,

I have no idea if this video will embed, but I was working on one of these for a customer today and took a quick video to show you how to fold the ribbon.

I always feel like I have to apologize for my messy work area, my bandaged finger, my kids chattering in the other room, my husband coughing...etc. But, hopefully despite all of that it will be helpful.

Okay...video isn't embedding...here's the link. Hopefully that will work.

Ok here's what I did tonight. I seriously need to get to Michaels and buy a bag of buttons, all I had in the house to use as a center was one of my Swarovski rivolis. I think the buttons look cuter.

You did a GREAT job. The fold is really easy, it's just hard to explain. :-)

I like the buttons better too, but I get orders for them with rhinestone centers alot too.

Thank you so much for showing me how to do it, for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to do that fold! :-) I'm a visual person though, it helps to just see it done.

Girl, You are a doll and a lifesaver! I was just about to give this flower up. I am a seamstress, can crochet, do a little smocking, but couldn't figure this fold out from any of the tutorials. Thank you for posting your video! I CAN DO IT! You make it so much easier! My daughter has been wanting these for her two girls and now Grammy is gonna score big time!Thank You1
