Default partially lined alligator clip vs fully lined

I was just curious if there is a difference in fully lining an alligator clip as opposed to partially lining an alligator clip. If there is a no slip grip added to both styles, does it make a difference? I personally think a fully lined clip looks nicer but if partially lining it makes for a better grip than that is what I will do. Thank you

I do partially lined clips just because LOL! I think it looks nicer and I like the way the metal part slips through the hair when you're putting it in rather than the ribbon. Does that make any sense? LOL HTH

I used to fully line, each and every time. Then I decided to partially line to see why some people liked it that way and to me it is actually better. I've been partially lining ever since To me, the clip slides into the hair a lot easier when it is partially lined vs fully lined.

I only partially line. It goes in the hair so much easier.

Yep, I agree with what everyone else said. I also partially line because it slides in the hair easier.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. I used to fully line them myself but I've been reading that a alot of people prefer to only partially line them, was wondering what all the buzz was about lol. But if it really does slide in the hair much nicer than a fully lined clip than I will be partially lining them from now on. Thanks again

Ditto what they said. It stays in the hair better that way.

I think the bows look so much nicer and finished with the clips being fully lined. But when I use bows for my older daughter's hair, I prefer the partially lined clips so much more!! They definently slide in the hair so much easier! I always have to fight with the fully lined ones!

EXACTLY what everybody else already said. I went a put a fully lined clip I did in the early stages of my daughter's and it wouldn't go in my hair!! Partially lined clips go in the hair SO much better.

I was kinda wondering the same thing as well
Wouldnt partially lined clips hurt the head of little girls with no hair when you slid them on to head bands??
As of right no i do fully linned clips.
