I am also weirly ocd about glue. Love to pollywogs ont he OCDness!

I always place the glue line ont he clip and I blow ont he line to harden the top a tad this seems to help the "bulging" if I still have glue mess I use toothpicks and swip excessive glue away with it.

I have NEVER thought to dry the line a little. Genius! Going to try that now.

I bought the Aleen's glue gun with the interchangable tips. It has a super skinny nozzle and I use to to spread the glue a little. I don't get globs that way and it definately helps when lining clippies. I use the woodburner to cut the ribbon and with the help of my trusty little friend "Aleen", I can line about 100 or a little more in just under an hour. It helps when I talk sweet to "her" too.
