Default lined vs. partially lined.

Hey guys! this seems like a no brainer, but I need to know the difference between partially line and lined clips. I do them Like Michelle's instructions. Does anyone have a pic of parially lined?
which method do you prefer to use for your clips?

TIA

umm, I don't have any pictures of the bottom of partially lined clips. I prefer to partially line. They slide in the hair better (at least on top of ponytails and such).

I cut the ribbon 4 1/4" long and start by gluing it on the top underside of the clip. Then I glue and wrap around the top and then back to the bottom. Make sense? I think there are several posts on the forum about it and probably some pictures.

I gotta go make some orders or else I would be able to help more!!

Good luck!

I have a pic somewhere, Marci, I just have to find it. I'll post in a bit.

If you look under the 1st instruction contest for the little mermaid instructions you will find how to make one.

thanks for the tips. I'll look. I do it like you do Ali, so is that a partially lined clip? I thought that was a fully lined clip. I guess I need a little more clarification. I'll go research. Thx

That mermaid is partially lined, right? So fully lined is bringing the ribbon all around the clip to the tip, right? Does anyone put ribbon only on the top of the clip without wrapping it? (I mean just on short piece of ribbon only on top)

Fully lined is like the picture below. You wrap the ribbon around both the top and the bottom of the clip so that no metal is showing...make sense?

Ali,

Are you using double clips for the minis?

i only do partially lined clips--like ali said--they go in the hair better if you have that metal prong exposed.
