Thanks in advance

I was trying to take them against white printer paper in the house but the lighting was always off, so I found the perfect spot in my garden that makes the colors really pop. If you go to my site and look at my bows then my flowers, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I use white foam core board and natural lighting. Then I edit them in photoshop. You can see them in the link to my Etsy shop.

I don't think it looks professional when I can tell it's taken on a floor or a table.

You can find a photo box or light box online or I've seen tutorials on making your own. I've found natural lighting to be the best. I would love to have a light box though so I wouldn't have to rely on the weather so much.

Digital SLR camera, manual mode, Photo box, natural lighting, and either a white or a dark background, which contrasts the color of the item that I am photographing. I then use Photoshop to remove the background, and replace it with white. It takes a while to get it just right, but when you do, it makes a huge difference in how things look...and sell! If the picture does not look professional, you will only get a fraction of the price that a professional picture would allow.
