How to seal certain ribbons?

I'm currently working on a custom clip for a flowergirl. Wanted to know what you ladies use to seal the ends of the following types of ribbon (or what works best):

*sheer
*wired ribbon

I use fray-check on my sheer bows. Same with wired ribbons, but I usually take out the wires anyway. It's easy and I think it still retains it's shape. hth

I always pull the wires out of wired ribbon too. I use a metal ruler and a woodburner to cut/seal both types.
