My sister wants me to make her some bobby pins with gems or cabachons...do I HAVE to use E6000?

I would highly recommend using E6000.

I did tiny flowers on some for my friend whose hair is just coming back in after chemo. The ones with hot glue lasted about a week. My E6000 ones still are great.

Yep hot glue is no good for the bobby pin pads. I have made 10000 of these and I would only use E6000

Hot glue, even the kind formulated specifically for jewelry, doesn't like cold temperatures - it will fail if the weather is freezing. Ask me how I know...

Eeeppp!! Good to know, as I've been using hot glue. They are on there super good, at least to me they were. I even pulled and tugged and they didn't budge. I guess I'll have to try the E6000 on them. Only problem is...my DH hates, hates, HATES the smell of the glue and has pretty much banned me from using it...

I've been using hot glue and haven't had problems with them. I put one in the freezer and it's been there for over 24 hours and I just tried pulling the resin piece off and it is not budging.

I'd love to be able to use E6000, but I'm not sure I could handle it.
