Maxine mine curled into each other more when I spread them out. I WISH I could do them that way it would make it a ton easier for me and not as hard to sew through all the pieces.

How long do you cut yours? I usually have my hubby do it for me while I am at work. I think he cuts them at 2 1/2.

See, I started out making them like the tut but now I have my own method. I put a needle through cardboard and then, using it as a center point, drop each korker ribbon down on it and fan it out. I then pin each end of the ribbon to the cardboard. After I'm satisfied with how they look, I slip my fingers under the ribbon and grab it tight in the center. Then I remove the pins and bring the needle up through and sew it a few times. It is HARD to do through so many layers, but the ribbons stay put.

I might get a chance to make one today and if I do, I'll take a pic of the cardboard part before I bring the needle up.

I hate making korkers. That may be why I charge $8 for one and $15 for two.

I find turning my long needle upside down and stacking them so they look like a fan or clock hands (this is a very tricky technique as the korker box did not agree with me). Make sure you use a bunch of korkers so that way they look full and pretty. The smaller the length the less korkers you need/ the larger the length...the more of them you will need.

Ok, I did one this morning. This is what it looks like before the needle is pulled up through the ribbon and sewn.

Now, I want to say this... the ribbon I used belonged to my neighbor. It is dreadful. The quality is poor and, as you can see, the lengths are not even. After the bow was made, I went back and evened it up.

Also, this is a mini-korker. It doesn't use much ribbon (maybe 13 to 15 pieces).
