Wink Board bow holders???

So i have a 5.5 month long farmers market coming up and i feel that after a while the bows are going to stop selling.. So i was thinking of in a month or to selling some wipe cases ( how much do you sell them at)... Also some bow holders.. I was thinking 8$ for the simple ones... But how much would you sell the big board ones?? also what do you use for the board ones? Is it just pliy wood??
Also was are some things you ladys make for boys as well ( i cant sew)

thanks

For the large bow holders I use a canvas (use a michaels', etc coupon and get a multipack) and get fabric and stretch it over and hot glue it along the back. Then cut pieces of ribbon to hang down the front. HTH and makes sense!! LOL Another EASY one to do it get the wooden pieces from Michaels...for like .99 and put a ribbon on the back that hangs down!! Good Luck!! I wish our farmer's market would let me sell bows...it has to be things from a farm....sigh.

We have a few markets that go on in the summer around here. Our main, huge Farmers/Crafters market is also VERY picky/stingy about what can go in. I am excited though about another small local one that will allow me to have a booth for $10 a pop!! And, I get to share it with a friend. So excited.

SO glad you mentioned the bow holders. I made one for a friend and love to do it, but I have got to figure out shipping because it was huge and the shipping was SO expensive. Love the idea of selling them at the market.

I really need to work on inventory.....eeep!

Oh, and I too use the canvas, and a staple gun to attach the batting and the fabric, as well as the ribbon. I didn't add buttons on my first one, but probably will on the next ones I make. I made a 16x20 and charged $18, but upped it to $20 for others. Not sure how much the smaller ones will be.

I do my bow holders with diff size canvas. I have done ones where you stretch fabric over them also, but my best sellers are painted ones. I just paint the whole canvas, spray it with spray glitter and let dry. Then I hot glue my ribbons to the back of the canvas, wrap around, hot glue to the back again at the bottom. I finish the back of mine but you don't have to. I take 1 1/5" ribbon and hot glue all the way around the back of the board to hide all my glued ribbons. I sell little ones for $15 and bigger ones for $20-$25 depending on the size. HTH

Hmmm...this intrigues me. What/how did you paint it? Are you talking just a solid color, or a design? I'm not artistic..at all!! Do you have a picture of one you've made this way?

Nope just solid color I use those little $.25 sponge brushes and slap it on there. It's super easy and fast. Then I just spray glitter and let dry. There is your background I do solid color behind bc I use printed ribbons. I think it would look too busy if I didn't do solid. These are two I did recently. The blue/brown wasn't finished, it now has a ribbon to hang by.

BRILLIANT!! I love the way they look! Thanks so much for sharing..do you mind if I try this design?? I would need to stock up on printed ribbon in larger sizes. But, love that it's much simpler to make...
