Default Floppy Flowers

I've made my first attempt at crochet headbands with flowers. What am I doing wrong....my flowers are floppy?

Please Help!!

Hmm...great idea! I'll have to post a pic in a bit. In the picture the flower doesn't look bad, it's in person. I ordered the flowers from Afloral and am NOT impressed. Ugh! Live and learn I guess

I've never had a problem with floppy flowers on a crochet headband. An FOE headband, yes, but never with the crochet. What kind of clip are you using. Are you clipping it as wide as you can (take as much of the headband into the clip as you can)? Is it the flower that's floppy or the whole thing...clip and all?
