I use fray check on ends that aren't exposed if i can't get out wood burner but I like to cut lots of ribbon at a time and use wood burner.

I mainly use a lighter but use fray check for corkers.

I've tried fray check and a wood burning tool but I always go back to my lighter.

Wood Burner, and that's exactly what I was going to say...

I had been using a lighter to do korkers but it took forever and wore my thumb out relighting the lighter all of the time. Now I put a tealight candle in a little holder and when I do Korkers I clip the end to an alli clip and hold it close enough to the flame to seal the edge. Works perfectly and it's super cheap!

I use a lighter mainly. I have a woodburner but have only used it a few times (I'm scared the baby will come by and pull it down somehow). I will not use fray check.

Lighter only here. Works the best for me - I hated using the word burner.

I have used a lighter since I first started making bows but finally got brave and started using the woodburner (that I bought months ago) last week. I LOVE it!!! My cuts weren't very even until I realized I had bought a metal ruler when I bought the woodburner for that very reason and now they are perfect every time!!
