Wink fabric covered diaper case - corners

Anyone have any ideas on how to make pretty corners on the fabric covered diaper cases? When I tried it, the corners gathered. My trim was not wide enough to cover the bunching.

Thanks to all you craft goddesses out there!

I made two of these cases, First one I cut with a pattern and it too was short on the corners. The second one I cut about 1/8th" bigger and was able to pull tighter in the corners with less wrinkling. I used an exacto knife to cut off the extra fabric, This is my first one, I sold my second one.

I love your wipes case. I was wondering where you found the rhinestone buckle. I've been looking for them but havent' had any luck. My friend wants a bow for her DD's birthday and she saw she like that had a buckle.

I've bought those buckles at Hobby Lobby. They are in the scrapbooking section of my store, in with the "spare parts", usually the metal letters and such. They come six to a pack, 3 designs. Sorry I don't have a clue how much they were. HTH

Thanks ladies. I'll have to check out Walmart. No Hobby Lobby around here, actually I don't think there's one in the state

I plan on making an LSU wipe case for a friend's baby & I'm looking for a little wooden football to use as an embellishment. I've seen tons of cute little pre-painted "boyish" wooden shapes as I've looked for the right size football. Fabric appliques would work too, although I'm not sure what boy shapes are out there. Hth

Thanks, I bought the buckle at Wal-Mart. A 3 pack was like $2.00.
