Default Should zebra print run vertical or horizontal?

I finally got some zebra print fabric to make a dress for DD and her cousins... Right when I was about to cut the fabric, I realized I didn't know which way to cut it. Should the print run horizontal or vertical?!?!?!? To make it worse, I did a search and found both ways, and I kinda like it both ways... Help me out ladies!

***I borrowed these photos just to give examples. Thanks!

Everything I've seen it on is horizontal. I guess it's just personal preference, though. *shrug*

Thanks! That's my DD... She loves to dress-up!

After searching more, I see that most dresses have the print run horizontal. Then DD came up to me with her picture book and said "This zebra has her lines running up and down!"

I guess I should have her dress run horizontal since this is the way most people do it. Besides, DD is tall and skinny... the horizontal print will "fill her up" more. Heheh....

I like both ways...but I personally like it better horizontal. If you really want it zebra style do it vertical...that's how a zebra's stripes run!

But it's personal preference...whichever you like better.
