Default anyone use dbl sided tape on shelf liner

i was thinking of switching my grip strips from shelf liner to the peel and stick foam. it just seems so much easier. well, i have had several moms from the preschool come up to me commenting on how great the bows are because the do not move and they really stay in their child's hair. these are all done with the shelf liner. so, since i'm just getting established in this area, i figured i better not switch. I dispise using glue on that little strip and was going to start using the dbl sided tape. I did one, seems ok, but as we all know, you think something's fine, then after doing 50 you realize something you didn't notice before. SO, anyone using the dbl sided tape on the shelf liner, if so, any problems? took me awhile to get to the point

I have always used hot glue. Never have thought of using double sided tape. Will watch this to see what everyone else says though.

I tried it on one of my daughters bows, and it fell off once i took it out of her hair. It held while in her hair but didn't stay on the clip.

I hot glue the foam onto the inside of the clip now. That holds wonderfully and I don't have to worry about it falling off the clip and having to search for it in her bow box. haha!
