Default Korkers

Seriously I know this is stupid but I need help and I'm serious I bought a few hundred yard to make korkers korked them and so I need to make these things so my hubs doesn't kill me.

I put on at a time on a needle and they are all stacked on.. and i'm ready to be done with it... so what do I do,... if I try to put it back through there is no guarentee it goes through all of them again, is that ok?

is that what you do??

Or do I go through them all and then around like a bow?

HELP me before I end up divorced cause i'm discouraged!!!

Thanks in advance,
Brandy

Stack them all on the needle and then pull through the needle with thread, all while holding the korker in your hand with the middle separated. Then take your needle and put it in real close to where the thread came out from and go back down again. you can do this a couple of times, depending on which kind of thread you are using and how strong it is. I only go through mine twice but I use the heavy thread and it takes alot for it to break. Hope that helps and I explained it clearly. Worst case, you can always tie them, some people here do that too.

Yup - stack them all then "pinch" the stack together as you slide them down the string. You should be able to go right back through them all again pretty easily. I usually go through the stack a 2nd time just to be sure all are gotten really well.

Good luck!

I use a lighter or a candle for the ends. I also have a good pair of sharp scissors so sometimes I use fray check.

I use a candle. But FYI, heat seal the pieces before you sew them together. Otherwise it's a HUGE PITA to do them.
