Default Attaching bottlecap to clippie? Having trouble!!

I did E6000 in the cap, pushed ribbon into the e6000, and then glued the felt circle over. Worked. Now, do I just hot glue the felt to the clippie? Mine kept peeling off if I barely tugged. Maybe my glue sticks, but I thought I would ask you ladies!

Are you using this on a bow or just the clip by itself? I use a wood disk but same idea- what I do is just wrap the ribbon around the bow and glue it like I would to finish a bow off without a bottle cap on it. The e6000 holds the ribbon in the bottle cap and they haven't come off for me. Hope that helps you some!
