Default Duct no slip: Does the backing just stick to the ribbon or do you glue it?

I broke down tonight and bought silicone (wrong kind apparently, not the aquarium kind) and duck no slip rug. The adhesive side, do you glue it or will it stick to the clip without ever coming off?

I cut them and attach them to the ribbon side of my partially lined clips. My daughter and niece have clips that have had them on there for almost 2 years and they have never come off

Where do you purchase the Duck no slip rug tape? I currently have nothing on my clippies but would love to offer the option of no slip. I also have an adult friend that that asked for a singed flower clip (a LARGE one). She has baby fine hair so she needs some sort of no slip on the clip or it will NEVER stay in her hair because a plain clip won't stay.

Do you apply non-slip to interchangeable for hats and headband as well?

I get the duck brand tape in the hardware section at walmart. I put the non slip on all of my clips. When they outgrow the headband or hat stage they can still wear the bow

Thanks ladies! Another question....I put the non slip on all her clippies. But she wanted 2 flower loop bows. They are a littler heavier for a clippie. I just made it 3 layers instead of my usual 4 layers. It's still a little heavy. I put non slip on the top of the underneath clip and put it in my hair. It still slid a bit. Should I put the non slip on the bottom part also to keep it in the hair? LIke the non slip touches more non slip once in the hair? Or will that not help at all?
