Default Wouldn't this work? Calling all E6000 Experts :) and Bottle Cap Experts :)

Okay, so I am new to E6000, but I was reading all the old posts about attaching bottlecaps to clippees. Mostly the attach the ribbon to the inside, but............. wouldn't it work to just line the edge of the cap with the E6000 since it is so strong and attach to the clippee and that is all?? Just curious if I really need to fill it and attach ribbon. THANKS!!!

I've been doing just what you asked. E6000ing the cap to the clippie and it holds VERY well I must say. I was going to go thru the hassle of buying furniture pads or wooden disks, but then I read another member was just glueing her caps right to the clip, so I tried it. I like it.

I have only made 2 so far - and I glued the cap right to the bow. I honestly didnt do any research on it. I sold them both and am PRAYING that they hold up. I have a bunch more caps now, and am making some of my own... so I am curious as to what others say/do before I make any more!

So... the little edge of the cap is the only thing with glue?

Yea, I put it around the inside part and just pressed hard. It stuck!
