Making interchangeable headbands

I was just wondering what material anyone can recommend for me to make interchangeable headbands. I'm open to all ideas.

I use elastic lace, girls tights or ladies knee highs depending on the colors.

Premade crochet are the easiest, just add the grosgrain loop for the clip. The nylon ones are very easy to make or you can purchase them as well.

When you use tights is it the no-sew kind? How do you do it if you don't mind sharing?
