Default mini korker help!

I have been wanting to make the tiny korkers for a while now. While in need of a birthday gift for a friends daughter, I thought it would be the perfect time to try. I cut my corked ribbon to 1 inch. While I was searching I saw a couple other women made some this small as well. My question is, how do I make it look like it is supposed to and not a bunch of curled up ribbon all together???

not sure what width ribbon you're using but I always use 1/8 gg for these- I don't measure but count 7 "curls" per cut and use 12 pieces per korker.
not sure if this helps at all but you can PM or post here if there's anything else. I'm currently working on a ton of these for some of the ladies on here!

If you're using 3/8 ribbon, 1 inch pieces are probably just too short. I wouldn't cut any size ribbon shorter than 1.5 inches or else it just wan't have any "curl" to it on either side of where you tie or sew it. For mini korkers I'd try 1/4 ribbon or even 1/8 like someone else suggested.

I cut my 3/8 ribbon at 2 1/2 inches for my itty bitty korkers, but I think they really should be considered a "small"..

I'm a curl counter, myself. I do 3 curls, and 10-15 pieces depending on what my mood is. I use 3/8" ribbon, but sometimes I mix in 1/8" or 1/4".

Do you use smaller dowels with the 1/8 or 1/4 ribbon?

I use 1/8" dowels for the 1/8 ribbon and I think 3/16 for the 1/4" ribbon
