Default Question about 3/8" ribbon covered plastic headbands

For those of you who make ribbon covered, skinny plastic headbands, I am wondering what size of headband you use? I am going to buy a large amount, but want to make sure I get the right size. I see on hairparts that they have a 3/8" wide plastic headband, but I am wondering if I should go a little smaller, so that I don't have to worry about the band showing a little on the sides.

Any thoughts/recommendations on this?

if you are talking about the woven ones, they can be made with whatever size, I usually use 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1"

Not the woven ones, but the ones where the ribbon is simply laid flat to cover the headband. Thanks!!

I use 3/8" for ribbon wrapped head bands and either 1/4", 1/2" or 1" for woven
