Default I need your help!!!

I am in need of your help girls!!

I have been trying for days to get this bow fold without any luck. I bought a bow I loved off of E-bay. I thought by looking at it I could figure out what I was doing wrong when making a stacked bow. Well, I ended up taking the bow apart so I could study it more!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get my bottom bow to make the pointy corners. ( That's what I'll call them.) The bow I bought is the pink and striped one. When it sits on my table it is like a perfect box. Then you will see mine is the blue one. After folding my bottom bow, my loops come out rounded and flat. I even turn them to a 90 degree angle but once I fold the center they go flat.

Also, notice the fold on the pink ribbon. It is rather thick with a larger fold then a smaller fold. I just like how hers all sits on each other. She also flips her bottom bow over so the "right" side is now on the bottom.

Any help would be great!!

Angelia

OK everyone, I wasn't going to ask this question but it is driving me crazy! Is the this is in front supposed to be up or down. I turn my bow w/ the tail down, it is on the bottom left corner if you are looking at it. Other I see on the top right corner. Everytime I see one I want to turn it around. I have three sets of instructions and they all have finished bows like mine. Am I backwards?

About the folds. When you make the first two they probably look fine right? Then you finish the bow and then your like HUH?? Where did my volume go?? Well what happens (this is my experience) the folds slip on you. Especially when you go for the third fold that goes between the ribbon. That second fold slips on you and you don't realize it until you are done. You have to really hold it tight to prevent it from sliding around. HTH

The first instructions I bought were the ones from Sweet Baby Bowtique.

She calls this the tails up tails down bow. Many others call it something else.
Some turn the tail to the bottom, some do not. I think it depends on what you like.

Yeah your right. Mine call this a boutique bow. My instructions for tails up and down is a flat bow that basically looks the same from the front or back. Everyone has renamed them, it is so hard to keep up.

This is the back of the bow. It looks to me like she only has it folded twice in the center instead of three times. Even though it is 1 1/2 inch ribbon.

Your right, it is only a double crease. I didn't realize that it was the back of the bow in the first pic. I triple crease mine, but the shape will come out all the same. The center just looks different.
