Default cheerleader/princess makers

I was thinking of trying some of the cheerleaders to make as pins for spirit items (parents wear to competitions/games etc)

But I have a few questions
1. Would they flop over as pins? Or do you starch them when done to avoid this?
2. What brand/color name do you use as skin tones? Our team is multicultural and we have a lot of different skin tones. I think everyone could feel represented if I had at least 3 choices.

I made a cheerleader and put a pin on the back of the arms and it didn't flop over. It wouldn't hurt to starch them or spray a little hairspray on them. As for skin colors, I just use an off white but I have seen others using an off white, tanish color for light skinned, and a brownish color for dark skinned.
I have no clue what the names are called lol.

I can't find these colors at my local wal-mart, hobby lobby, or hancocks so I guess i'll have to start ordering online.

I use antique white for light skin, and I think the darker skin is oatmeal or soemthing like that. I dont' have a dark skin yet.

Oh, and I also use stiff n stuff spray before mounting them.
