Ok here are my runnies as I was just playing in bed while watching the game....so they arent the best but it gives you an idea. I took them apart, on the teal and brown ones I used half the layers so I actually got three flowers out of two. The purple one (yes the center is purple, washed out in the flash) I used all the petals and part of the plastic. All of them are glued. They sure dont look as good as everyone else's so I still gotta do some work

Okay I've done quiet a few of these in the past month so I've btdt but I'm no expert. I just wanted to pass some ranunny flower wisdom on, I hth's.

The KEY to making the flowers keep their shape is lining up the petals right(do NOT do NOT line up the petals in line with each other and the layer before it) and adding little dabs of glue on the first two bottom layers(heck maybe even three if you want the petals to lay tighter) at about mid petal so they can keep a tighter form instead of being floppy and but they look natural. Also not using the spacers will give the flower a good softer non stiff feel, again more natural imo. PLUS one of those spacers is just jumungo and you can see it sometimes if the petals do not cover it at a certain angel. I rarely use spacers unless I absolutely need to. I love putting these together but hate the hot glue strings now those drive me batty lol.

Ahh I hope I didn't confuse anyone lol totally not my intentions. These are super fun flowers to work with. If anyone has any questions about what I posted just lmk and I will try to explain the best I can.

She is right, if you look at my brown and teal ones, you can see how they are not lined up. I also ran a small line of glue on the very back layer up the petal so that they stay together.

About the glue strings, run a lighter just above the strings and they melt in to hot glue heaven.....

Blowing hot glue stings with a hot blow dryer (just so you know....my mom has a blowdryer that only shoots cold air , thats why I said hot ) will make them disappear too!!

Here are two that I made last night....sorry for the poor pic quality...I just took these really fast so I didn't forget.

I love this thread...it's really inspiring! I didn't use any spacers but did use all of the petals. I tried to keep the shape but cupping them in my hand as I used a small dap of glue. I did also put a small dab on the bottom layers half way up so they weren't floppy.

Can't wait to keep seeing more pics from these gorgeous flowers!

I absolutely adore these flowers and love everyone's pics!
I used pearl flatbacks inside mine and I glued some (not all) of the spacers in to help it keep its shape. It is still very soft even with the spacers.
