Default Question about elastic thread

So I learned that you can use elastic thread from one of the tutorials on this site. I tried it, and LOVED IT! I was able to make much better bows. BUT..... now I am worried that the lot I made won't actually last and that the elastic will eventually break. So tonight, I tied the regular string I was using around the elastic. THoughts? Has anyone used elastic and did it hold up?

yep!I got it at walmart, I have to be careful when I use it though, because sometimes when I am tying off, I think I pull it too hard and break it.But whenever I tie off with it and I don't break it, it holds very well!Haven't had any issues with it, I prefer using the bowdabra brand tie offs, it's gold.It works the best for me but I have used elastic thread a few times and the bows are fine!GL
