Default Attaching bows to flip flops

What is the best way to do it? I want to make some for my next show. I know hot glue won't hold! E6000? I just want to make sure I can guarante they won't fall apart.

I have literaly made hundreds of flip flops with bows ( a cheer fundraiser) and I use E6000 to adhere the ribbon to the band. I then would hotglue the bow to the ribbon covered band. As long as the hotglue is ribbon on ribbon it works. I only had one bow ever come off and that was with a dog pulling on one end and a child pulling the other direction.

I make these and use the 'stinky' glue (e6000). They have never messed up. My daughter played volley ball in hers and they were just fine

Thanks, also, my daughter saw them and since I have been making bows, she said Mommy can you make me some like that. So now I have to go find some E6000 glue. I am assuming I get the glue at the craft store or can I get it at Walmart?

That glue is stinky. I used it to make a bow this week instead of hotglue and it smelled horrible. Does the smell go away? I wouldn't want my child wearing something that smelled that bad. I went back to the glue gun .
