I just use hot glue!! Mine are spikes, though, not the whole bow. I use hot glue to put the bow in place and hold it...then I but the center tie around the flip flops. I use 3/8 and start on top, glue under around one side and glue, then go under around the other side and glue. Then I top with some embellishment. I've been making them a couple years and no troubles with them coming off.

I use hot glue and have never had a problem. I used E6000 once and it took over night to dry and I am very impatient! I also read the back with the warnings about cancer and decided its not worth it, if I am doing alot with it..........I would rather use the glue gun!!

I made my first pair yesterday. I used super glue to attach the ribbon to the flip flop straps and then hot glue for everything else. The dry time was super fast and they seem like they are going to hold together just fine
