Yes, I use padding on all of my wipes.
The trim is called gimp or scroll braid or french braid. I do get some of my colors from Joanns and hobby lobby. Try Papermart.com though. They have 2 different sizes and sell it by the roll pretty cheap. When using the gimp make sure that before you cut it you either hot glue the back side or use nail polish. This will prevent it from fraying when you cut it.
Good Luck!

If you're opening it up and tracing it, you're not tracing what you'll need to go around the hinge. Have you tried steaming the fabric? It might get the wrinkles out.

What glue did you use? I did the kelley tut posted on the prev page and it called for mod podge. It just didn't feel like the fabric was "tight". Looked loose. I found another empty wipe case in my daughter's room today and I want to try to do another one tonight. I just don't know what glue I should try this time. I have seen some with 3/8 ribbon and they looked adorable as well. I just don't know if I could get the 3/8 to look smooth, so I might just stick to gimp braid

I use Modge Podge on the wipe case to get the batting to stick but honestly I dont use anything between the batting and fabric, made it to stiff for my liking, it felt cheap to me.

Then I just go around and hot glue my fabric to the sides of the wipe case and then just trim any excess. Then I go back around and hot glue the gimp to the sides. I do my ends like she did them, hidden under a fold of the fabric.

I use the gimp braid bc I like that it is very forgiving, you can hide mistakes with it. Ribbon is very cute too, but I just like using the gimp in case I mess up on the fabric a little you'll never be able to tell.

Yes, it's just a fabric covered button that you can get at Michale's, HL, etc. :-) I cut a small circle of felt and glue the petals to that and then use a lot of glue in the middle and add the button, then glue the whole thing on the case.

I love fabric flowers and love using them on everything. :-)
