I have been looking for a tutorial on this! There used to be a cheap one on etsy but I can't find it anymore. If anyone finds some instructions or anything let us know!

You sew the ribbon on and then tie them in knots. A long time ago there was a thread on here.

What you can do is take your length of ribbon, mark the middle of the cut, sew it through middle to the bag and then tie them

I attached a visual pattern-ish thing

When I do my bags, I usually make the bow and sew it by hand in place. It's very effective.

That is pretty much how I remembered it being. I think that some people sew 2 to 3 rows on like that and then tie the knots.

Thanks for your suggestions. I am going to try to sew the ribbon on then tie the knots. My grandbaby is gonna love it. I am making her an art bag for her coloring books, notebooks & crayons (she's gonna be an artist!).
