Default Cutting spikes...

I see some people's bows that have the most perfect dovetails on their spikes, how do they do it? I try so hard and my spikes still come out different, is there a paper punch or something they are using? :-)

Any help is appreciated.

lol I guess I am too intrigued by the style and colors of the hairbows that I really never looked at the spikes. I just fold mine in half length wise and cut a triangle and I got my spike.

Ditto, just make sure you're paying attn to which direction you cut the triangle or you're going to get the opposite affect and get a reversed spike.

Not only is it cutting it on the same angle for every one of the spikes. A good sharp pair of scissors will amaze you. If you don't have a really good pair, invest in at least 1 and see the difference. I got my Ginghers at JoAnn's with a coupon.
