I want to make a tutu for my baby girl but im not really sure whether to do a sewn tutu or a tied/knotted tutu... what do you make and why? I do have a sewing machine...

which way looks prettier?

I have only ever made the no-sew tutus. I haven't had a problem so I never tried the sewn ones. You can check out my website if you want to see my no sew tutus.

Tied tutu's are SO much easier. Trying to sew tulle onto a ribbon is a PITA!! YCMT has several tut's on them, but it's nothing more than making slip knots of tulle around a piece of elastic. It's really easy. I made this for my DD 2 yrs ago for Halloween ... took me about an hour to make it. I made it longer though. Most make them short. I also added black and red rhinestones to the tulle. She was a ladybug
