I use those shelf liners. The soft plastic like ones--not the sticky ones.

Question for you all, I have used gripzies and hold it. But the bow still won't stay in my daughter's hair. What should I try next? Or what is it I am doing wrong?

Try it without any grip at all. My daughter is almost 5 and now the clips slip out of her hair. I tried it without a grip of any kind and it stayed all day. I think non-slip grips are best for thin or sparse hair.

Why don't you try the silicone...I haven't used the duck hold-it, but the gripzies were a HUGE waste of money in my opinion. I would never use those..
Wendy sells a tut on here, or threeblessings (I think) posted a tutorial a while back. I've been doing it for awhile and I'm very happy with the results.
I can wear mine to bed (I have very long, thick hair--hate it in my eyes!) and they're still where I put them in the a.m...
Give it a try! It's really an economical method too!
Best of luck!

Hold it - duck tape wears out with time and looks ugly. The shelf liner if you use 2 strands sticks out from clippie and you can see it on smaller clips. I was wondering if hot glue would work since silicone melts in hot weather and its extremely hot here in OK in the summer.
