Default Question - ribbon sculptures and clip placement

For my "people" clippies I am trying to figure out if I should attach the clip vertically so that it is hidden behind the body (the opening at the top).

Or, if I should have it go horizontally - behind the arms?

I am leaning towards vertical - but just curious about what you do, or what you would prefer. As it is, I have some clippies that are meant to be worn both ways.

I asked some people I made them for and they said horizontally... Mostly because they said they would have to position them a certain way if they were vertically.

I attach them horizontally, as well. That Tinkerbell is adorable, btw!

I think if you are wearing them the feet should be down so you would want them vertical.

I used to put them horizontal, but now I've started putting them vertical. They can be worn on either side that way.

very cute. I put horizontal because thats what I prefer but occasionally it looks better with it being vertical. I think it depends on the ribbon sculpture.

I put horizontally b/c it's easier to put in my dd's hair that way.
