Default Question about clippies ... :)

For those that glue, do you cut lengths first and then start glueing or do you cut and glue as you go?

I've been a clippie makin' fool today and I've used almost my whole roll of double sided sticky tape (lovin' it so far) but I want to try out my Aleen's Ulitmate glue gun (when I run out of tape) b/c it's got a flat tip that I thought I'd try out on the clippies ... so I need some advice on the best method for using glue.

Thanks ladies

Back in the day before double sided tape I would cut tons of ribbon before hand and then sit down and glue. I still have ribbon cut just sitting in a box because I hate lining the little pieces.

I dont cut my ribbon first. I just go straight from the roll, and I can fly through clips this way. I have never used the tape and love the glue gun so probably will never try it. But I think its an added step if you cut first.
I also have a tealight candle lit and use that for heat sealing...it saves alot of time instead of a lighter! Works perfect!!!

I cut and seal with my woodburner, and then glue. I can cut ribbon super fast with the woodburner, so I cut it all and then glue - usually on a different night.

I always use hot glue too. I also always cut the strips and heat seal then line the clippie. Its a pretty fast process once you do it enough...
