I think it is a classic bow from the bbm but just snip off the two tails on the back or cut you ribbon shorter than stated in instructions by 2"
I`ve done this with my bbm and it works fine it just has the two shorter tails hidden on the back

Yea i just make two tuxedo bows, lay them like an X across each other, then i take a tiny rubber band and wrap around the middle( you can use a sally clip and hold them together and tie off with string) and this will make them have the same shape as the bow your wanting. LOL i hope that makes sense. If you want later tonight after work i can send you pics

Thank you ladies, I will have to try the 2 tuxedo bows together.
I did try the classic bow from BBM with shorter tails, I cant hide tails all the way back.
I have been making stacked bows with korkers on top, and those tails just bug me a lot.

I made a bow like that with 1.5 inch ribbon and I just did the figure 8 method and pulled the loops down and made it flat.

Hi,

Not sure if you are still looking for a way to make the same bow as the one you saw on that Etsy listing. Do you remember a thread about making itty bitty bows and LilRedSmiles shared her tutorial? It's basically wrapping the ribbon around your fingers twice, pin the middle, the spread the bows out? Use the same method, just don't twist the ribbon. Just spread out the "wings" flat. Cut the tails short enough to the middle, and they won't show. You will get the X effect that you want.

Here's the link to that thread. http://hipgirlclips.com/forums/how-m...itty-bows.html

HTH...

I'm new to this thread but I just tried this with the figure 8 method and my Sally's clip, tied it off and got NO tails!!! You just have to make sure you lay the loops flat!!!

Yea I do them the same way as the TBB also, just don't twist to the the open loops.

Hope she figured it out.
