Default Hair clip styles for teenage girls?

Hi ladies, anyone have ideas on hair clip styles that would be worn be teenage girls (13-14 years old)? my sister is asking me to make some for my niece, but the only kind i can think of is a clip lined with ribbon, and left like that....so it's a bit more plain....any other suggestions???
Thanks Stace....

I just made some for my friends 15 year old. I made flower loop bows with Hello Kitty in the middle, a woven headband, some ponytail streamers and a few fabric flowers. She loved them. My next door neighbour is 16 and loves the flower loop clips and the pony streamers.

My 13 year old neighbor really likes the flowers, both singed and 5 pointy petal. She's a very "trendy" type girl with her clothing choices and I was super surprised when she brought me some fabric to see if I could make her some flowers. I had made some for her 8 year old sisters birthday. Anyway, I don't know if our sister only wanted clips, Leah also really love the thin glitter headbands. Good Luck! Suzie

My daughter is 15 and she likes the ribbon flowers I make, the FOE headbands, woven headbands, she wears just about any of it. She will wear a bow with school colors for pep rallys. I think the older girls wear the bows more than the little girls.

I work in a middle school with 850 kids 13,14,15,16 yrs old .
I notice that mostly the girls are wearing the basic tuxedo style bow in many colors on a simple alligator clip. Lots of them wear headbands like the skinny stretch headbands. I am a lunchlady in the kitchen so I see them everysingle day and I wish soooo bad I could put up some of my stuff...but we have a bad theft problem in that school...these kids are at a bad age where they know everything and everyone is against them (*they think*) sort of thing.
I even made a pony o with school colors and lots of them were asking for them for their girls basketball/etc teams.

My niece is 13 and she and her friends wear the fabric flowers on clips or bobby pins and also the covered buttons on bobby pins. They wear alot of the glitter headbands and foe headbands with small appliques or small bows.

My 15 year old just asked me to add some cloth flowers I bought on here to a clip and she wanted snap clips because they lie flatter. She also love hydrangea bobby pins. I attached a pic of her updo!
