Default Beaded Bottle Caps

I want to try my hand at making bottle caps with the beaded dangles - they're so cute! What size split ring do you use for the top of the cap (to string onto the chain) and the bottom (to hang the beads from)? Also, I found some acrylic rhinestone beads on etsy in 8mm & 12mm - are these the sizes usually used?

7mm jump rings, but I don't use them for the dangling ... I hook directly thru the hole at the bottom. And I think you want 10mm for beading (dangling anyway). It might be 8mm for stringing. I would suggest that you use sterling silver findings (jump rings, etc.) Eventually the fake stuff wears and it looks crummy (not so great for repeat customers). JMO.

I don't use jump rings for the dangle. I recommend headpins. For the beads that have a little larger of a hole I recommend using the *eye* headpins. Clip them to size (* you'll need a wire clippers or a 3-in-1 tool*) and run beads and loop ends. Good idea for beads too...RUMMAGE/GARAGE SALES!
I love to run around garage sales and find old jewelry that people are practically giving away. Take them apart and Viola! Lots of beads to work with. Hope that helps!
