Default a tutu dress like this....

I've made the girls a skirt tutu and they loved it. I want to make this type of dress for them....
I found this on etsy and just posting the link to the dress I like
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...age=7&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

Is it just knotted around the top elastic and then a second ribbon wrapped around to make the body part...or is it knotted around the second ribbon aswell???

I don't think it is knotted at the waist. The ones I've seen like this just have a ribbon or something as a belt.

But if you don't knot it at the waist, do you think it will bunch up in between the two ribbons?

that tutu is called a baby doll or empire waist tutu dress. I used elastic on the top and knotted it and then elastic around the waist and knotted it. Hope this helps.

I use a very fine elastic like 1/16" I think it is on the waist part. There is a technique of how to knot the waist to make it look good.

so cute! I tried to make a tutu dress, but when it was done it looked messy. I tried to steam it, but I couldn't really get the wrinkles out. Any tips?!? Also how do you guys ship them?
