Default Help with attaching fabric flower to clip

Hi Everyone! I made my first fabric flower today and I think it turned out good for my first try! Anyhow...I want to attach it to an alligator clip. What do you do about the "hole" that is on the back? Do you just put your lined clips over that or do you put something else in it? Hopefully this makes sense.

I put a little hot glue in the hole to help keep the flowers stable, and then I cut a small piece of fabric (same fabric I made the flower with) into a circle and glue the circle over the hole. The back of the flower will look "finished" with the circle covering the hole. I then attach my alligator clip to the back of the flower over the circle of fabric that is covering the hole.

I hope that makes sense!

I use felt too. I put a line down the center of the felt circle and lay the top of my alli clip on it. Then I soak the felt circle w/ glue and attach to the back. The felt will create a no slip grip and helps to hold the flower to hair, hats, etc.

To cover the front hole. A lot of people use fabric covered buttons or a large button.

Hope this helps!
